The Multitalented Celebrity Chef, writer and CNN’s Host of the famous “Parts Unknown”, Anthony Bourdain is dead. Aged 61, Mr. Bourdain was reportedly found dead in his hotel room in France. According to his cable news network CNN, he hung himself. Anthony Bourdain brought glamour to television, travelling round the world, filming people, cultures and cuisines. He blended quickly with every culture he visited and told his stories in a manner so trilling that you want to visit wherever he had touched. He was reported to be on a production trip to France when he decided to end his life. It is still sketchy what may have led to his killing himself, but he was reported to have battled with drug abuse and depression in his younger years.
CNN in its official confirmation Friday morning said; “It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain,” the network continued, “His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.”
